Knowledge is power. Marketing departments do a great job of convincing people what is healthy for them; we want to provide some clarity and help you with strategies that actually work.
Lifeology: We will help create a kitchen pantry with foods that will nourish you and your family. We will identify sub-optimal foods and explain potential alternatives (e.g., why we replace these oils with unrefined ones, why we choose butter over margarine, why we prefer unpasteurized pickles to pasteurized, why we advocate for bone stock over flavoured broth additives for soups, why we are passionate about marinades that make your meat taste great and help you digest your fats better). The list goes on and on.
You get a nutrition course with hands-on experience. You get real life exposure to what works and what doesn't. This includes cooking classes, fermenting demos and anything and everything in between.
We are passionate about food as the foundation for a healthy lifestyle. We see great value in traditional ways of eating - marinating, soaking, sprouting, fermenting - and bring it into your homes for ultimate health and vitality. Of course this food tastes better, too!
As an Olympic athlete I see what works for me, what gives me the fuel to train over 50 hours per week. When I tell people that I like to eat healthy food, most people make a lot of assumptions based on what they've construed to be a healthy diet. Many people are surprised that I don't inject myself with quinoa, I don't juice kale , and I certainly don't avoid saturated fats. I do try and eat a diet relatively devoid of fake-food products and processed vegetable oils. I eat a diet based on the wisdom of our ancestors. I eat a diet that nourishes and protects the body from pollution, toxins and processed foods that we are constantly being bombarded with.
